Main Feature

SBLC (Standby Letter of Credit) is a written promise issued by a bank (Issuing Bank) at the request of the applicant addressed to the beneficiary stating that the bank will pay money for the draft drawn by the beneficiary if the documents submitted by the beneficiary are in accordance with the terms and conditions listed in the SBLC.

Benefits

SBLC is intended to provide guarantees for payment or implementation guarantees, guarantees for receipt of advance payments or guarantees for granting credit by banks in reference to UCP 600 ICC Publication 2007 and International Standby Practice (ISP) ICC Publication 98.

Risk

In failure of payment due to incomplete document requirements, the importer is required to bear additional costs beyond the price of the imported goods and requires a longer time to process the required documents.

Requirements & Procedures

The customer fills out and signs the Account Opening Application Form for L/C and Customer owns account and follows the terms & conditions applicable at Bank SBI Indonesia and submits Photocopies of KTP/Passport/SIM for Indonesian citizens and KITAS for foreigners, NPWP, and the legality of the company You can submit questions and complaints through the nearest Branch Office and contact the Call Center number listed.
